There's a piece on Britain's Telegraph site titled Demand a better deal for the poor of the world in 2005 purporting to be from Bill Gates and U2's Bono. I wish I could know for sure who wrote this and whether it's truly attributable to Gates and Bono. Whoever wrote it, though, I couldn't agree more!
